How much does Gastrora cost?

Scheduling is CHF 39/month — shift planning only, no time tracking. Package 1 is CHF 69/month with time tracking, for restaurants and bars. Package 2 is CHF 79/month with everything in Package 1 plus the final settlement under Art. 14 L-GAV. Enterprise for 50+ employees on request. All packages include 2 login users, each additional one costs CHF 10/month. The Scheduling package is a flat rate with any number of employees; Packages 1 and 2 include 10 active employees, each additional employee costs CHF 5/month. All prices incl. VAT.

What’s the difference between Package 1 and Package 2?

Both packages include shift planning, WhatsApp time tracking, the L-GAV validator, overtime balance, monthly report, CSV export and multilingual support. Package 2 adds the complete final settlement under Art. 14 L-GAV with digital sign-off.

Can I use shift planning only?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Scheduling package costs CHF 39/month and includes the shift planner, the L-GAV rule check of the schedule (rest periods, notice period), schedule delivery and shift reminders via WhatsApp, shift swaps, holiday requests and sick reports via WhatsApp, and events in the weekly schedule. Not included: time tracking, working time records with sign-off, balances, year-end, payroll export and final settlement. The price is a flat rate with any number of employees; 2 login users are included, each additional one costs CHF 10/month.

Can I upgrade to a bigger package later?

Yes, at any time. In Gastrora under Settings → Billing you switch from Scheduling to Package 1 or Package 2 (called “Standard” and “Premium” in the app). Your schedule, employees and events stay, and time tracking is unlocked straight away. The difference is charged pro rata. The 30-day trial includes every feature — you choose your package afterwards.

What’s the difference between a login user and an employee?

Login users are people who log in to the Gastrora dashboard — typically the owner, a branch manager or the bookkeeper. 2 are included per business (e.g. owner + branch manager), each additional one costs CHF 10/month. Employees are your service and kitchen staff who record their hours via WhatsApp — they have no app account. Packages 1 and 2 include 10 active employees, each additional one CHF 5/month; the Scheduling package any number at no extra cost.

Are there extra WhatsApp fees from Meta?

No. Sending via the central Gastrora WhatsApp number is included in every package (fair use). No separate Meta fees.

Can I cancel monthly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Gastrora can be cancelled monthly with no notice period. No minimum term, no setup fee.

How much does an additional employee cost?

Accepted Answer

In Packages 1 and 2: CHF 5 per month per active employee beyond the 10 included in your package. Inactive employees or those who have left are not charged. In the Scheduling package, additional employees cost nothing — it is a flat rate.

CHF 10 per month per login user beyond the 2 included in your package. Typical use case: a multi-site operator who gives each branch manager their own login with a defined role (admin or manager).
