How does drag-and-drop shift planning work?

You drag the shift onto the employee's day in the plan. Gastrora checks live whether the rules are met (rest period, break, rest days, qualification). Only when everything is green can you publish.

What happens if an employee wants to swap a shift?

The employee reports the swap request via WhatsApp or in the chat with the business. The manager picks a suitable replacement and confirms the swap in the dashboard. Both employees — the one giving up the shift and the one taking it over — are then automatically informed of the update via WhatsApp.

Is the two-week notice period under Art. 21 L-GAV checked?

Yes. Gastrora automatically reminds you of the notice requirement and flags late changes with a reminder that the employee's consent is needed.

Can I plan several roles (kitchen, front of house, bar)?

Yes. Every shift has a role (e.g. front of house, kitchen, bar). Employees are qualified for one or more roles, and you can filter while planning so that only suitable employees are considered for a shift with a given role.
